NGI operates a Workplace, Health and Safety Policy Manual that mandates the requirements for all employees and subcontractors. This policy is in accordance with the requirements of WHS Act 2011 & WHS Regulations 2011.
Next Generation Instalcoms is proactively committed to providing the general public with the highest level of protection, in conjunction with a safe, hazard free and healthy working environment for all its employees, subcontractors and visitors as required by relevant statutory legislation.
Responsibilities under these legislations include doing everything reasonably practicable to:
- Comply with all relevant Health and Safety legislation and regulations
- Make our WHS policy available to all relevant interested parties
- Make every effort not to expose third parties to, or place their health and safety at risk as a result of works undertaken by Next Generation Instalcoms
- Identify any hazards on or in relation to the workplace and eliminate or set controls for those hazards
- Ensure our employees, subcontractors and advisers use appropriate work practices to complete all tasks
- Support suitable rehabilitation programs and encourage injured employees to return to work as soon as reasonably possible
Maintaining a safe working environment requires all NGI employees, contractors and associated parties to be diligent in the identification and notification of hazards not only prior to, but also whilst conducting works. We are all responsible for our own health and safety, along with the health and safety of our co-workers by working in compliance with the law.
